General Information
Sometimes described as a haven of tranquility and peace on an island of entertainment. The resort of S`Argamassa is situated on the north eastern coast of Ibiza between Cala Martina and Cala Pada and 2 kilometers from the resort of Es Cana. The resorts beautiful secluded beach is backed by lush pine trees and its well kept sands lead down to sheltered waters ideal for family bathing. Here on the beach you will also find water activities including pedaloes, parasailing and a banana boat. This pretty resort has a small number of bars, cafés and restaurants with most of the entertainment being provided by the hotels in the resort. With its rural setting this resort is perfect for a quiet and relaxed family holiday. Airport transfer time is approximately 40-60 minutes
Food
Quiet and relaxing restaurants are the order of the day here, with a good choice in local dishes. Albendigos (spicy meatballs), Rabo de Toro (oxtail with onions and spices) and the fish specials Calamari (squid in batter) and Sopa de Pescado (fish stew in garlic and tomatoes) are all worth a try. The local beers are very good value as are the many wines on offer, with the obligatory Sangria found everywhere. You might struggle to find fast food style cooking here, but the version available in the bars and pubs is quite edible. and all served with chips and a great salad.
